ya just like i heard that putting a really huge wing on the back of your car makes it really fast. almost as fast as putting stickers on sides of your car.

the nos

the nos is faster in the zz its 23,500 and the turbo is 21,600 but in real life nos makes your car hit top speed and maybe go faster now i said maybe a bit faster

For loads of fun, try a zz turbo, NOS or DKS 2.8 in your bit. You have to cram it in though.

go w/ turbo! not as fast as the NOS engine but it blows away a 2.2 in torque. It's my personal fave anyway.

In real life turbo will beat the hell out of nitrous. If you spray your engine then you'll most likely just roast your tires off the line and melt your piston heads after a few months. With turbo, you get constant power more evenly distributed and you can drive around and learn how to use it. Completely unrelated to the topic of this post but hey, turbo all the way!

Well technically if you roast your pistons you must have a Civic, thats really the only car I know that can't hold much of anything (turbo, or nitrous). But anything should be fine with a 50 shot of NAWWWZZZ! A turbo is also four times the price of any nitrous kit. But anyway, I really like the turbo motor for the ZZ better because it has way more torque than the NOS motor. I use my NOS motor in my Wild Char-g and it works fine because the gearing in those is specifically for torque.

first of all you cant use nitrous until you hit 5000rpms in real life and if your lucky that is in 4th or 5th gear, and the same goes with a turbo, it doesnt spool up until it hits a certain rpm factor, you just dont hit the gas and oh hey your turbo is on lol. but i think with the best motor go with the nitrous, and the green gears your bit will be smokin by the time you hit the foward button.

Nitrous engages when your gas pedal goes to the floor. It turns on the nozzles when the throttle body position sensor detects WOT. So if you punch it off the line (which is stupid if you have any power, cuz you'll just smoke your tires) you could spray from low RPMs. Again, it would be stupid, because a 50 shot at 1000 rpm would be like doing a 300 shot at 6000 rpm.

Turbo does not engage off the line, however it gives a lot more power in the straightaways and once you're moving.

Nitrous costs less because its a temporary system, and constantly needs refills if you use it. Turbo sits on your engine pretty much as long as you have the car and requires very little maintenance.

Civics can handle turbo and nitrous, Honda blocks are built very sturdy, and they put out a lot of hp per liter. They have the capability to do a lot more. Look at the S2000 for instance. NA its 225 hp in a 4 cylinder.

I think I've addressed every issue so far.

Oh yeah, if you are serious about turbo, any smart car guy will tell you to build your internals to handle extra psi.

Boosting 15 psi on a stock block is like spraying off the line, it'll end your run real fast.
