Anyone tried Microrcs.com

Hi All, Just signed up here at the forums. I'm planning on buying a couple Shen Qi Wei cars for my son and I to race and it looked like Microrcs.com was the best place to go. I didn't see any category here in the forums for Shens, but I've noticed a few posts here about them and using them as parts cars so I figured someone might have dealt with this e-store. Any info you could provide me about your dealings with this company would be appreciated. I don't have alot of extra money, especially this soon after Christmas and these seem to be a decent car to try this micro RC thing out with. Then if my son likes it enough we can upgrade to the Bits, I heard they're coming out with some type of Propo car in Feb or March, that will be sweet. Thanks in advance to all that respond. I am not sure about thier Cust. Service, but thier prices seem pretty high. I mean the $20 for the clone includes shipping. but you could get and LXX of of ebay for about the same amount. And the LXX is a better clone, IMO...

Just my 2cents....

you can get almost any of these cars off of ebay for cheaper and then you pay twice as much to ship and wait 2 weeks. i have two cyclona clones. they are ten bucks and the best ones ive bought. search for "music video" to see one in action.

Ouch that place seems a bit pricey in my opinion,, not too long ago I was selling SQW cars for $16 shipped.

Look around and you will find bargains,,, if not drop me a line.

flea markets, computer shows, malls, toys r us has clones for 15$ the bodies look cool i dono how they run tho.

Thanks for the help everyone, I've found another place to buy some Shens thats $2.00 cheaper per car, has 2 month guarantee and will ship me what I order.

I looked around E-bay at the Shens and I'm sure there are some good sellers there but beware, read the fine print. Shipping charges from $5.50 per car, $15.00 for a set of four, they reserve the right to substitute cars if they don't have what you order, sets include up to 4 frequencies doesn't mean you'll get 4 frequencies, some are actually shipping from Hong Kong.

With this company I don't have to mess with Paypal, I've got phone #s and addresses and names of who I'm dealing with, its not worth the time and hassle to save a buck or two condsidering the headaches that could arise. I know you adults and parents out there know this stuff, I just want to make sure any younger fans out there learn what to watch out for so the don't get cheated with their hard earned money.
