take off the pcb cover, put the battery in the cab of the car, and paint your windows black so you can't see in

or, what some people have done, is take out the PCB and flip it upside down.. then just shave away at a little bit of plastic on the chassis and wire the 2nd battery next to the first.

that looks... complicated... i just pulled apart my bit, and took a look down at where the battery is.. and ooommgg... im scared
them wires look like they can break any minute... yeesh, i'll stick to dropping in a NIMH battery.... all you gotta do is get one and replace... no cutting, wiring... etc involved... right?...... right guys?! ...... guys?!?!
