why is my charging light so dim?

i noticed that my charging light is pretty dim compared to the other l.e.d light that comes on when your pressing the up/down/right/left buttons. the batteries are pretty new, measured them with a volt tester, register at around 1.39 volts. i even opened up the remote,saw nothing wrong with the l.e.d(i.e no cracks on the solder or anything).

also its quite the opposite on my gf's controller. her charging l.e.d is bright while here other l.e.d is not. i'ved checked out my brother's controller and both of his l.e.d's are bright.

any ideas/clues?

p.s i ran a search already, didn't find any solutions.

might just be a bad led....id try to replace it ...
but it isnt THAT important, as long as your car runs its all good

Yea, I agree. Just as long as the mug doesn't go out though.
