Question booster battery time decrease???

Hey all i got the 350z booster kit 57mhz (put my supra body on it though) It runs very well and i get like 20-30 ft distance right out the box. I've done no mods to it yet, but i'm noticing my battery life seems to be getting less and less. Any idea what's up?
Possibly memory effect on the NiCad? (though i've been draining it completely b4 re-charge)

I did notice the boost button is significantly faster than a bit of the same specs. Non-boost my bit (with a 2.2 motor) is slower than a regular bit with 1.0 motor. Boost it is faster than a regular bit with 2.2 motor.

I would like to know the same thing. I am planning to buy a booster, but don't know if I should.

it is actually bad to let your battery drain completly every time. try to keep it charged as full as possible and recharge before it drains.

why is that bad? It's the NiCad battery so i was always taught to drain it completely b4 recharge. Am i killing my battery?

possibly. nicd is good to "prime" every so often but not every charge. all batteries will last longest if they stay charged all of the time. same goes with cell phones laptops pdas....

I just got my fairlady z today. I haven't noticed the battery thing yet but the first thing I did was swap out the NiCD to a NiMH. We'll see what happens.
