I took the leap and picked up a Russian tank at Hobby People. They only have Russian tanks I got say it is pretty cool for a little tank .The motor are really not that loud kind of reminds me of the old WW 2 tank movies. Now should I order a Panzer or should I get another russian tank tomarrow and just paint it camo or get some 1/72nd tank decals

Should I get the Panzer or the Tiger tank?I have seen the post about the problems everyone is having with the panzers. You can get more scale looking decals from hobby store that have fine modeling supplies.I checked out the decals at Konami not really scale looking.I think I will make a diaroma to drive around in

I'd get the Panzer. It's a different body style, which is cool, but it will also let you put the war-mode to use. That's where each tank has it's own specifications for gun power, life, # bullets, and reload speed. Plus, you could still battle the Russian and panzer in practice or equal mode. If you buy another Russian you're pretty much always in equal mode.
There are some frequent complaints with the panzer, but they can be fixed by one of the following.
1. Check that all the wheels spin freely (except the drive wheels. they won't because they're on gears.) If one catches or rubs too tight you can try lube or boring out the hub with a teeny tiny flat head screw driver. That worked for me. They come off fairly easy too. Just put pressure on it and it pops off, but don't lose the center pin to hold it in.
2. Open the shell and put a couple drops of lube in the gearing.
3. Run in the motors in forward and reverse for 3 or 4 charges. You could also solder out the motor and run them in with batteries, but I haven't had to do that yet.
Have fun and hope this helps, Jay

Yeah, the Tiger is my favorite and the Russian pulls a close second.
