one battery from another char-g into another?

Just wondering, because i'm too lazy to order another battery cell to make the Dual Cell mod, but could i just take one battery from another Bit and put it in another one? i mean, im almost certain it would work, but i was just checkin here first cuz yall seem to know what yall are talkin about......thanks

1. Make sure they are both of the same type (NiCd or NIMH). If they are stock then they will both be 50mAh NiCd's.

2. It'd be nice for them to have similar capacities (or else you'll just be able to charge up to the limit of the cell with less capacity and waste the potential of the other).

Other than that, go right ahead. You planning to make the donor bit rubber band powered or something? IMO, if you're going to go to the trouble of doing a dual cell mod, get a couple of 150mAh NIMH's from the shop here and do it right.

thanks for the advice........ but really, i'm gonna try the Dual Cell Mod on 2 clones that i have, they were only $7 a pop..... once i perfect the Mod, then i will get the 150's..... but thanks, and wish me luck
