Cant change ID
Just got a set of 4 in the mail and i woiuld like to reset the ID's so that they all can battle, then all came set on ID 4. I've followed the instructions on the ToyEast web page but have still had no luck.
All of the tanks work just fine, i just cant set the ID's.
Any suggestions????

I had this problem too. When you press the ID button, you see the tank flash it's belly light, keep holding the ID button until you see the green OK LED on the controller. When I first tried changing ID on my tank, I was releasing the ID button when I would see the tanks flash it's light. There is a few second delay between the tank flashing it's light and the controller's green OK.

I'm glad you got it figured out. Also its worth a mention, the Ir LED that that sends out the ID signal is located under the controller in a small hole by the charger contacts. Just in case you didn't know. At first I thought it came out of the front of the controller.

Ahhhh, nice find BillyBonz. I had thought the IR up front controlled the ID as well.

Yep, so did I. That is why on some sites they show pix of changing the ID by setting the tank on the table and putting the controller over the tank. Seems to me they could have saved a few $$ and used the Ir LEDs in the front to do the same job. There prolly is a reason, but I don't know what it is.
