They actually sell both the mini-racers(crap) and the Cannonball clone (made by Bensu). Mine did anyways. Stay away from the mini-racers. Worst clone ever!!! The Cannonballs come with a 2.8 and cost $17. Stand alone charger just like the Motor Works, but it's a different car. The motor is removable, but the gear on it is twice the size as the regular ones. Great for top speed, but horrible for torque. It drives fine on the carpet. Nothing has compared to my MotorWorks yet. Still looking
Battery is a 1.2v 100mAh. PCB board is made very well and the cover for it is the toughest one I've seen. Very hard plastic and tinted blue. After looking at this one, I get the impression that the MotorWorks clone at WalMart is Bensu's latest car. Just heavily upgraded. Could be wrong, but the charging station and the controller are identical. Maybe just minor differences. The Cannonball also came with cones, a barrier and a few signs.
Just found out that the places that are selling them, like Checker, Walgreens, and Autozone are only selling these thru the holiday. Might get a lot harder to find these things after Christmas. Clones that is.
