ACK! Stepped On!

Ok I've had my auto mod set now for like 3 days and my mom already stepped on it! It made this awful pop and the front end appeared to have same major negative camber. I took off hte steering knuckles and the pins were slightly bent so i did the best i could to bent them back but im a perfectionist and they still just dont look right.

Do i have to buy a whole new chassis just for some new steering knuckles?

No, you don't have to buy a whole new chassis. See if anyone here has some extra's and you're all set

you might be able to straighten the pins perfectly by removing them and using two longnose pliers. They have instructions at QFM to remove the pins. I had this same problem with my LXX.
I've seen a lot of cut spring cars that are not hondas

They are still all ugly rice rockets though.

Procrastinator - Just because we are two peas in a pod (procrastinators and perfectionists) I will help you out. I have a Microsizer chassis w/ a trashed PCB on it that I can send you as a donor vehicle. You'll have to pay shipping (of course) but other than that it will be free.

My email isnt working so, I will post here. Shipping will probably be about $3.00. What exactly do you need again? All thats left of the car is the front half of the chassis with the front steering assebly attached to that and I guess I'll just send that to you. Do you have Paypal? If so, please send the $3.00 to the Paypal account "BlueCB1@hotmail.com" and will ship it then.

everyone has their own opinion in their own eyes. I'm sure you have your favorite car and can swear that it's the best out there. I have no problems with the cars out there regardless of what make/brand. Just the arrogant drivers and stereotypers in the street.

Sounds good, but wait untill after the holidays please (I have finals this week and I already had to wait at the post office for and hour and a half today).

Sorry Blue Bit, didn't mean to offend you but all the street racers I have ever met (maybe its just b/c I leave in a small town) think they own the road in their V4's and V6's (nto dissing V6's either, but I know some people w/ V6's that are really small)

OR...
You could send me a Microsizer 150mAH NiMH battery ($4.49) from this site to:

Jimmy Howard
158 Kestwick Drive East
Augusta, GA 30907

Kind of a trade, you know? Tell me what you think.

I drive a civic, and no I didn't cut my springs, I did some mods to make it look a little better (rims, tints, interior accents) perform a little better (all around less airflow restriction) and handle a little better (neuspeed springs, sway bars and again, rims)

I agree that everyone has their own opinion in their own eyes, and I also agree that there are a lot of crappy looking hondas out there giving guys like me a bad name. But don't go slandering all of us, I don't think thats a fair assessment to make.

Thanks

No problem, no more street racer cracks from me. Well, one last thing, my friend jsut got a '03 Civic and I can't wait to smoke her (especially since she is pretty much only doing body mods). It'll be so fun. Oh, and would I get made fun of if I went to a street race in a '66 Mustang?
