lightning-speed mod

it's not a "mod" but it makes your bit goes in lightning speed !!! my bit became unbelievable it travels to 10 feet or more in less than 2 seconds " my measuration is not so sure because my floor is so slipy and my bit going abit not straight" !! it's soo super fast, as i wanted to be !! when it drifts the wheels start weeping and making this drifting noise, when i drift it makes this 360' turn and doesn't stop after that, when it jumps it does a 360' over turn "acctuly 180' because i have to turn it back always ", when you take over the cover the bit becomes in an "un-seen" mode !! extreme speed, this mod for all people who were diapointed of the bit speed ...

here is what you want :
1- 8.25:1 gears "not so necessary"
2- 3.0 motor
3- coton tips
4- WD-40
5- grease "the one that used for bicycles is prefered"

now, take off all the parts near by the motor and clean them up with the coton tip till it become totaly new and clean, put some of the grease on the following parts:
- where the tire axel contact the body
- the metal arm where the samll green gear fit
- some of the green gear
- the gear on the tires axel
- motor pinion

now take you bit for a ride then spray WD-40 on the same places that you have greased, careful not spoil your pcb or the tires " wipe your tires with a tissue" ... try your bit now !!

good question

its obvious that it has LoTz of dirt up in that rive train
i tried it once with regular WD-40 and i have to clean it after every race!!!
im so lazy it just makes the bit more of a hassel than its worth if ya have 2 clean it up all the time
why do u think it charges in 45 sec?
because obviously it was bulit for SPEED
and it runs 2 minutes right?
so thenif u have to clean it up after every race with all the dirt thats 5 minutes or more wasted
so u gain speed on ur bit, but u lose speed on things u have to
do with ur time...

Perhaps if the bit was actually a $500 1/10 scale nitro RC then I'd invest the time in cleaning it after each race, but its actually just a toy that some of us have decided can be modded into an illusion of a real RC. Its fun as hell to play with, and basically no maintenance. If you gain 1/10 of a second in the 10 foot run, its negligable, because your mass-manufactured gears and motors aren't precise enough to take full advantage of each other. You might buy 2 of the same motors and one will run 30,000 rpms and the other may run 27,500. I'm noticing that all of my posts are uber-long, so I'll end here.

Bottom line is, bits aren't precise enough that you'd have an advantage over someone else who hadn't greased their car up before you run them.

well i still have the same super speed, but all i have to do is to clean it abit, it's not my problem if your floor is dirty :P
when i first got my bit the charge was like 55 second and last for more than 2 minutes, now the charge 45 second and it last for 2 minutes
i think the battery took the normal operation ...
