2.6 motor vs. 3.0?

Er, I mean I have a question...

Is there any place that sells 2.6 motors online for less than the 3.0's? I would rather prefer to have a 2.6 because I hear nothing but control problems with the 3.0's.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough... Is there anywhere I can get a 2.6 motor for less than $8 (the price in the TinyRC.com store)?

find a shop that sells zcars. the store by me has 2.6 and 3.0 kits that come with an extra axle gear and 2 cones for 6$

the motor that came in my 14$ clone is faster than the motor in the kit racer. i dont think it is very torquey. the one i run right now has way more torque and comparable top speed to the k.i.t. racer.
