3.4 zip zap motor
The 3.4 Darkside rotor for the LXX/zipzap sold by drift king.has any one tried one of these in a zip zap yet? I want to know how well they work before i buy one. If i dont like i guess i could put it in a lxx when I order one. I thought a LXX motor was the same as a tomy but it seems its just like a zipzap motor according to a pic I saw on another forum.

3.4
yes, very important, our 3.4 will not work correctly on an unmodified ZZ, for good speed, try the 2.8 monkey rotor

when you say modified, does it have to have a dual cell or just an upgraded cell to run this motor. If I throw a 150 mAh battery in my zz will it work or do I have to have dual 150's???

Hard to say, but if you use line up a 2.8 Zip and a 2.8 Bit, the bit will kill it, just the way Zips were designed, but its the fastest I've seen on a Zip.
Also to answer about the modified Zips: no, you need at least 2 cells for the 3.1 and 3.4 to work properly.
