Yes... And you can add a longer thicker CAT5 antenna, or you can untie the knot in your current antenna. And you can add a solid telescopic antenna to your controller...

upgrade the car antenna to a solid copper wire of a longer length. you can also do the telescopic antenna mod on the controller.

ask around, the crip cap is not easily located according to previous threads. see the thread entitled

hmm i just got a 57mhz car and it seems to have the best reception out of all of them.

i have 2 27mhz cars. different brands both got about 7 foot range.

i have 1 49mhz that got 50+ foot range indoors.

i havnt tried to figure out where the 57mhz ends yet but lets say this. i have the antenna under the bodyyes there is no visibl antenna on the car and i still get at lest 20foot indoors.

well heres the deal. the higher the frequency the further it travels on the same amount of power. thats why am radio stations can be heard a few hundred miles away.

I have the white WRX and did the cripple cap mod to both the car and the radio and got 18 feet indoors with stock antennas and 21 feet indoors with 24gauge on car and telescopic antenna on radio, it was 35 feet out side with the 24gauge and telescope antenna on 57band. How is that for range?
