catman25,
I produce 3.8 motors and I've tested them in alot of different OEM cars to find out which they will work well in. The LXX cars don't work well with the 3.8 motors. The fastest motor that the LXX cars work well with is the 2.6 motors. If you go higher than 2.6, you'll have to push the car to get it going from a dead stop. The only OEM car that I've tested that actually ran the 3.8 motor well, is the Bit Char-A. I was very surprised, because everything else I've tested (even the Zip Zap) doesn't work well with motors above 3.0.

If you do the dual battery mod, it should work then. It will be faster than a Real Bit Char-g.

Funny, I dont recall any 3.8 makers having that little tidbit in any of their advertisements! Might be nice to tell people like "hey, this will prolly work like crap in a zipzap or without a bat mod" I think that the makers should test their motors and post their results with different cars on the order page. Kinda sneaky.

joeNuggetz,
I sell 3.8 motors and I'm trying to steer this guy the right way. I'm not trying to be sneaky. I actually state in my ebay description that the 3.8 motors won't work in Zip Zaps. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...775570556&rd=1 . I'm here to help people out with the Tiny R/C hobby, not take their money.

Catman25,
It's hard to say which OEM cars can run the 3.8 and which ones can't. There are some people with OEM cars who don't have any problems running the 3.8 motors in their cars. It's pretty much up to the customer to determine if it's right for their car or not. I can say for sure that the Bit Char-g and Microsizers will run the 3.8 motors. That's why I only list them in my auctions. If you contact Tiny R/C directly about your problem, they will probably help you out.

Dappa-Dan,
I will ship to UK/London, but I'll have to charge $5 for international shipping. I think Tiny R/C will do the same. You can email me at kyleclemmons@msn.com or go to our website at: http://www.bitchar-gmotors.com/ and we'll try to help you out.

LXX motors
If you guys are looking to upgrade your LXX, make sure to visit my site www.driftkingshop.com we have a 2.6, 2.8 and 3.4 motor, all of which can be 2 cell modded! These have the specific endbell and motor dimensions to work with the LXX- Tomy's won't work right!

the LXX motors are slightly longer and have a different contact at the end. It will not fit in a TOMY chassis unless there is some modification. But I had luck on placing a TOMY motor on a LXX by bending the contacts on the chassis slightly.
