Dual Cell Charging

Im thinking about doing a dual cell mod. I just popped over to QFM to find out how to do it. It says there that to charge a dual cell, you need a stand alone charger. Is this true? Can't I just double or triple charge a dual cell with my controller?

P.S.- Can I use electrical tape instead of heat shrink tubing?

Please do not criticize me for being idiotic and asking stupid questions that I should know. I have no skills when it comes to modding and driving Microsizers and other micro radio control cars. Please help me to raise my self-esteem. I don't handle criticizm well and when I do, I usually go cry into a pillow and scream and break things. In short, be nice to me (it may be hard though through all of my annoyance). Thanks pal!

You CANNOT charge the car with the controller if you have the dual cell. The light doesn't even turn on for me.

And, for the P.S, yes you can, but it won't hold as well, and won't look as good.

All my charger is 3 AA batterys hooked up in series to a charge holder for my car. 2 minutes, and I'm ready to chase after my car!
