I think my Mini-X is now dead...

Ok this thing was really cool...until i started trying to run it.

First off I'm having a heck of a time doing the ESC setup... (ARGH)

Then the battery isn't probably charging correctly, be it because i am hooking it up wrong or something.

The batteries will not accept solder on them (tried sanding and flux and 3 types of solder...)

I used to love it but these problems are going to kill my love for it...

HELP?

I think i found the problem

My charger as cool as it is...does like a 4 minute "fast charge" and i don't think it juices up the battery enough. So right now (overnight) i have it set to itellipeak on 100mA until i wake up then i'll re-test for the problems.

Tiny...any chance you got pricing on the 2wd motor and the 6 cell battery?

Also can i buy more batteries (5 or 6) from you with the charging leads you use already added? i can add some more money to send to get this done, soldering to batteries has NEVER EVER worked for me! Yet i can solder bit antennae, and a bunch of other things, but i think i'm always worried ill mess up my batteries.

Worked out the charging failure...but i still would like the leads you have....what do you say tiny?

THANKS for having this car...it makes the winter seem almost fun! The carpet (best test yet) has nothing on this thing. The only problem is the super heat the motor gets, but im working on some heatsinks today at work!

It flies with the stock set up, turns well and makes a bit look like a cheap 5 year olds toy...but i still love my bits.... (i have a few extra....anyone interested in my extra Bit's/Microsizers?

Yep, we can add them for you (or anyone), and charge your pack if you like - no add'l cost - just put a note in the Notes field in PayPal.

HAHAHA i broke it again!

Ok this time it was my fault totally...running without the bodt and whacked the wall full speed!

First it made the diff all messed up and the front pinion is now super loose (aka no good).

So i think it is time to order from Tinyrc again!

I want to pick up a few in store items, but i really want a 2wd motor...email me pricing maybe? post it here?

I'm guessing this will be a nice $50+ order...

HAHA...

no the cat got in the way and at a full speed this thing could snap her legs! So I veered and WHACK!, POW!, BLAM! The wall destroyed it hard.

Maybe I'll get more indoor space to run after i get the parts from tinyrc. A track would be nice since we are supposed to get ~2-3 inches of snow tonight (lying weather man we won't get nothing).

Hey tiny or anyone else the gear set you get is like the rear gears...so it took me about 45 minutes to precisely sand and finish my front motor gear to fit without any binding.

Also i see the basic kit has some different pinions...any news as if those are better or worse?

I can't wait til tonight so i can run this thing on the 6 cell and the 5 cell.

Also have my super geeky heatsink rigged up...just waiting to test how it works....
