A bit clone also known as a bullet clone (comes in a bullet type package). I found these at cumberland farms (gas station chain) on the impulse buy shelves.
The bodies look really cheap but I thought what the hell, I'll try one. The thing is quick, so quick it cannot be controled, it goes right into donuts and even spins out on take off. When I say donuts I mean I don't even have to turn it just starts spinning.
This is great and all but not much fun for the lack of control. I did however pop the motor (perfect fit/interchangable) into a un modded zip and I get a nos equivelent motor with a touch more torque. At the very least I spent $15 for a fast motor and a future pcb swap candidate.

The drawbacks;
You can't tell the freq from the package I wound up with 2 27mhz cars.
The bodies are cheap.

I think it's a good trade off, I will buy one more and see if I can get another freq.
