just bought new tires! BUT WAIT???!!!

ok i just got back from the store and picked up some microsizer brand tires. to my suprise they are MUCH harder than the ones that are stock on my OEM thunder clone. what gives??? i was expecting the back end to stay in place but instead they are too hard and the back is still swinging out even with the soft square treads. stock motor too.

what would be the benefit to the suspension tune up kit?????? i saw the there are three different pivot arms. one with no holes, one with two holes and one with four. it also comes with some sort of plastic tire axle. is this the "drift" axle????

Yeah, aren't da Microsizers Tire Set the same as the Bit Racer ones? If so, Microsizers is being very mean and selling the wrong tire sets... What you need is the Tomy GS-07 Color Tire Set. Much Much softer...

yes, and the stablizer kits have 3 different hardnesses, the harder the stablizer, the better grip up front, and the more donuts with faster motors.

yes that axle is the drift axle, even though they do not specify it on the package...its funny cuz hobbico doesn't even know what they are selling.

yeah they defiantely didnt say anything on the package about the drifting axle but found out thats what it was by doing some research right when i got the car.
damn! so i just wasted my money on these crappy ass tires??!! what a disappointment. can someone post pix of the colored tires or their packaging.????

i assume the stabilizer with the most holes is the softest. am i right??? ok last question. is the drift axle really worth it???? does it really work like drifting or does it just send the car into donuts?????

please have pitty on the NEWBEE!

the tune-up kit with the stabilizers have a set of tires that are identical to stock. not as hard as the mediums in the tire set.

Here are the pics of the packages...

On the left side the hard ones even the softest is harder than the stock tires.

On the right side the soft ones especially made for bits - soft but ugly...

I use both sets..

Harder in front means bigger circles but your car stays on the road.

Softer in front means small circles but your car likes to overturn.

Harder on the rear give your car a rally style driving - drifting.

Softer on the rear makes it stabil but will give you bigger circles, too.

that's a very good question, one i can't answer too, sorry. I'm a little skeptical that the drift axle would work, looks like an axle with wheels that don't need tires, i could do that easily by taking off the tires on my microsizer.

i have the drift axle...and its just like driving on the rims.. unless you use it on really low carpet or...on a bed, or piece of canvas or something. Fabric is fun to drive on with these axles. They are not a total loss, cuz it makes your car about 10x harder to drive, so you and someone else could both race with drift axles and see who can get around the track once first...its really hard.

I think that the bit racer tire set is not crappy at all, If used with the char-g tire set as well. with both of them together, you can kick a$$ on any track thrown at you, as long as you can drive.
