Talking Question for the pros?

What contribues to having great sharp steering one way, and the other way sucks. It's not the adjustment tab on bottom. I tried the new Magnet (which sucks!). Also, The metal tab the motor rests on, does it matter how its positioned? I got a 3.8 motor and it's much slower than the rest of my other motors.

mmm..some cars are lemons, some motors are lemons. I bet you could fix your steering somehow, but a bad 3.8...is usually just how it is. See if you can return it.

I would return it but I placed three orders the same week it came. I have it narrowed down to either TinyRC.com or Quest For Madness. Not sure who sold it to me. *Sigh*

You should have received a packing slip with your orders or at least an invoice. Did you throw them away??

Sorry to say, yes. I emailed TinyRc and am about to email QFM. If I don't get this resolved, well, O well. My fault for throwing them away.

Does the steering spring have any role in how the car turns???

no the spring doesnt effect sterring...but it does effect the the line of driving or goin straight...i accidentally bent mine it it keep goin a little ore to the right.....

and if u got ur 3.8 from QFM its all top end(top speed) not bottom end(acceleration....

i have 2 of em and they seem slow but when i race wit other ppl wit 2.2 or 2.6 its faster than thiers......

Well, this is slower than my 1.0 What about the battery? i'm using a 3.8 with it. Does the Thing the motor rests on have anything to do with it? Thanks. Mike.

the two metal bars that the motor rests on affects the gears....and i dont know wat ur talkin about.....but the plate that connects to the end of the motor does affect it....

I was wondering if it matters how far bent the plate that it rests on, if that matters.
