cheap clones (price)....

its $.99 per car, S&H is $6 for the first car and $2 for each after that, thats $7 for the first one and $3 for each after that, and these would be good to try mods on, i think ill get a few. hmm... 5 x 3 + 7 = 21.... thats $21 for 6 of those!

Did you notice that the image shows a 1/4AAA battery not the 1/3AAA that comes in the Char-g cars?

I was wondering what the difference was and why. I too thought about picking some up for spares or experiments.

I just wanted to note a couple of things on these cars. I have one of them (the red Ferrari F50) that I picked up from the mall labeled as a Panther (40MHz). First of all, the tires and wheels are not compatible with Bit Char-Gs / MSs. The outer lip of each wheel is a smaller diameter than the inner lip. Next, the motor that comes with them, though hotter than a 2.2 (I'd say about a 2.6), is 1mm or 2 longer and will not fit a Tomy unit without midification. Third, the geartrain is very noisy on these buggers. And last, but not least, the tires are very hard and they don't grip very well -- at least not on my linoleum. Also, the body is pretty high quality, but doesn't fit my MS quite right. But it does look alright next to my 1:24 F50 on my desk at the office. Which is where it is right now, so I can't check on the battery.

Hope this info helps!

blah blah blah...

I have a couple of Panthers and they all run about 8 minutes on a double charge. Even on a single charge they run longer than my LXX.

Those Clones are Bensus. They are lesser in quality to a Panther

i have one of thos..they r pretty good comes with a 2.6 motor..and works just as good as a bit...every bit part fits it...i got a bit body on one of those...it is better then buying a $40 bit..i could buy a $20 clone and 1 body and 1 3.8 engine for 20 and that would = the price os a bit and the clone would look and run better...
