picture in signatures

r we not allowed to have pics in out sigs??

cause i have a picture that id like to use as a signature. i know it takes up space but other boards have pixel limits. i think a good limit is 500x150

Pictures in signatures mean trouble for the mods, ask usagi, hes been having trouble with my sig twice and my sig is pictureless

I've seen boards go down the drain because of the clutter than sig pictures cause. The mods simply cant catch up to the offensive pictures, the oversized ones and those with too many pictures.

dookie is right, I have gotten upset with the sizes and (wording) of the personal sig areas. I don`t like pics in this area, because it takes way too much bandwith and more junk to scan while reading messages. So mattattack,I rather you not use them, I need to scan more then 300 threads at times, and having people post 200 to 300 words Pesonal sign and pictures just causes more stress. I know some other sites allow it and its nice, but lets build up to the stage little by little. I do promise as this site grows the Personal Sign area space (and pictures be allowed) will increase.
Thank you Usagi

He is a Moderator, the carefully chosen elite members of the board whose task is besides discussing topics like all of us do, now is in charge of approving topics and replies, stop flame wars, filter out the bad stuff and telling people that their signatures are too long .

what about the new mod icon images that qfm has made available? you could limit to a certain number and limit them to what you make available. sort of like the avatars, except not custizable. they would eliminate the need or occurence of the exaggerated signitures and off topic of inappropriate images.
i completely agree with your complaints by the way, i've been to some forums where the sig's are huge and it becomes as annoying as pop-up adds.

Wow, I hadn't seen those - let me check with QFM that it's okay, and if it is, we'll set it up so that you can use these in your sig - great idea!

glad to hear you like the idea. once in a blue moon i can think of a good one. can't wait to see it happen.
love the bunny image threat, it would be funny to see someone's avatar change when they break a forum rule. think of the bunny or smiley with a dunce cap or in time out. it makes me laugh.

Okay, we're adding them! Click on "Get More" under Smilies to access them! This process may take a while, so check back as we add to the list. We may reduce the size or offer some other options - please let us know if any ideas you have!
