OEM bullet motor
I hacked up an OEM bullet with a 1B earlier and I tired it in a special ed. GTR bit I just got (with a Tomy 2.6). The Bullet motor has a LOT more torque and it seem to be faster as well. I also get a huge increase in range when I run this motor. The size of the motor is slightly bigger than the Tomy, but it fits and it has a pink bottom (although I'm pretty sure it's not a 3.8). I just kinda figured that the Tomy 2.6 would be better then an OEM 1.0, anyone else get these kinda results or am i doing something wrong with the 2.6?

Ok, I'm beginning to think that my 2.6 is defective b/c this thing is slow! The problem is I don't have another one to compare it with, so I was wondering if anybody's 2.6 works on carpet at all (mine doesn't). Also, around how fast it goes in 10 or 15 feet. One more question...is it suppose to go slower in reverse then forward? Sometimes mine doesn't even have enough torque to go in reverse and I have to keep pressing the button until it works...

yea....the bullet cars have wayy better motors..i have a 2.6 in my skyline history set chasis with supra body and it is alot faster then my tomy 2.6 and 3.0 and i just found one more bullet car under the Xmas tree so later this week im goin to put the motor in my pennsoil skyline chasis....it has better tourge and top speed then a tomy 3.0...
also my 2.6 can start up on carpet and go just as fast on carpet as tile floor..(well just a lil slower but still fast)and my 3.0 can start up on carpet or even go onto a carpet surface from a tile surface...so in other words tomy motors suck and clone motors rule!!! lol

What I'm still stumped about is the increase in range. I never though that the motor effected range...myabe b/c it's thicker or something? the positioning? Whatever it is, my rage gets around a 1.5X increase, still not as large a range as my bullet, but much better.

Hey, this might have been discovered already ( I don't wanna go around searching posts right now), but I'm pretty sure that the OEM Bullet motor is the SAME thing as the ZipZaps red motor, I just got one today, and everything seem the same...

No, mine is the XaNaVi GT-R, with a orange 2.6 , but I like the red ZipZaps motor much better. I dunno if this is how it is for other people (once again I don't wanna go searching through the threads ), but I was able to stuff the ZipZaps motor in the bay with no mods at all.
