who cares? those are junk. i mean a few of their parts are worth using on other cars but the zipzap in itself has too many problems and you have to totally hack the thing apart to get a semi ok speed.

i recently asked one Radio Shack employee if he had any ZipZaps, then he laughed at me and asked me if i'd ever though about getting a satalite tv system.

i payed for my 3V battery and left as quickly as possible.

you people.. its all about PERSONAL PREFERANCE! Its obvious that many people like bit char-g more than ZipZaps, and many others like Zips better. I really don't think you need to tell people how much one or the other "suck" or "are worthless" ect ect.
It would be great if some of you could just grow up a little and respect other's opinions, and state your own respectfully.

- i wish the forum software had more advanced filtering facilities...

People have to realize that zip zaps are helping all of us out by bringing renewed interest in tiny rc! What this means is that the companies that have been the leaders will have to work a bit harder to get our attention. Hopefully this will spark more creative solutions in the tiny rc market.

While the Zip Zaps might not be great, I firmly believe that the other brands still need some more refinement. We are at a great point in tiny rc history and I expect that we'll all be happy to see what will come in the near future!

if you are looking to buy a little dinky rc car look at tomy/clone cars before payin radiosnack
- hmm... did you read the forum agreement when you signed up?

- if your posts clutter up the board, disrupt threads, or otherwise contribute to a higher noise ratio to data bandwidth, then i'd say you don't 'have every right to be on this board.' (but i'm not a moderator, just posting my opinion, as you have)...

- i'd like to see some definitive pictures to document the "cheezy" aspect of the zz cars... from what i have seen, the PCBs are clean, parts are trimmed, microelectronics are properly soldered, units well packaged, etc. - can you say the same about the 'clones' you suggest people waste their money on?

[OK, i will grant you one concession: the zz controller PCB *is* rather crude and doesn't seem to be as sophisticated as the zz carriage electronics; however, from everything i've read, tomy/clone owners don't seem to be too happy with their controllers either]

:-)

- i'd heartily suggest that if someone were going to buy 'a dinky little r/c car,' that person should AVOID purchasing a more expensive tomy, and especially AVOID buying a clone car...

- but then again, i 'have every right' to say you're wrong and that your logic is flawed...

- please back up your opinions with facts

- i'd welcome posts/pics detailing the workmanship of other maker's models - don't you agree that would be interesing?
