Thank you Arch! Yes the LP500s is very acurate and beautiful. The only drawback of this one is the body being tight and hard to remove. There is no seam between the lower end of the body and the chassis. I have to use a small flat screwdriver to lift on side then the other.

where did you get the scale gas station form?
Oh, and if gas was that cheap up here, I could afford those cars too

Saw it in a diecast forum, bought it from an online shop. Got the inspiration from Kyosho displaying the dnanos on small dioramas.
The gas pricing must be some kind of joke Especially as these are litres and not gallons (3.8 litres for 1 gallon). Maybe the pricing 10 years ahead

Nice collection! I wish to build up mine as well. The Lamborghini Countach look's much more accurate in your photo than it does in Kyoshos product photo. I have the Kyosho in 1/43 scale die-cast form and I wonder how it compares? Also, how accurate is the F-40? Again, from the Kyosho product photos, they look odd, so curious as to how they look in real life. The Murcielago and Modena are certainly accurate and very well made.

Thank you Marc,
Yes the Countach sits very high on the official pics but I took the risk knowing that dNaNo bodies usually sit lower when on the RC chassis. It was the case with the Countach (althrough could even sit lower front) and also with the F40 fortunately. Just too bad that we can't use the Asc wheels. It is OK with the F40 but not with the Countach wich has 5 holes wheels originaly.
I think that the bodies do not look very accurate on the official pics because they use a neutral white background/floor. I always take my pics outside where the background and sky will reflect on the body paint wich is the case most of the time with 1/1 cars. On the pics above there is even the reflection of the station roof. Thats what will make the scale bodies look real.

Thank's for the info fovea. I'm hoping to win an auction for a NIB white 911 at the moment. It will be second in my collection. Well, fourth if you consider the first two I had last year!
When I get around to getting the Countach, I plan on getting those aluminum wheels from Real Tracks which I believe will suit the Countach much nicer. Talking about the dish-style wheels with the detailed rivets.
I dont' care for the stock wheels on the Dnano chassis and wish Kyosho would've invested more in stock wheels for the chassis instead of just on the bodies.
Just like on the Mini-Z, I don't see why one set couldn't be both.

Good luck with the 911. Its a nice car. A bit touchy being RM + narrow but challenging (I tried one).
Yep the dish-style for the Countach would do well, maybe with 5 holes drilled in them if you ask me, that would be perfect.
I too do not like the fact the ASC wheels can't be used. Sure it would have been easy to make them usable but once again K probably has a logical reason. Maybe they plan to release their own line of "accurate" alloys specific to each body? So maybe we would have official 5 spoke "Ferrari" alloys from K in the Future to mount on the dnanos? That would be smart from them and highly lucrative.

I bet Kyosho-made aluminum Dnano wheels would be more expensive than AVM's or Real Track's. If I get the 911, I plan on getting their five-star wheels with the rivets. I might be getting the R8 as well and if I do I'll get the dish wheels for that one.
I don't understand Kyosho's methodology as it's just as expensive to make the scale wheels for the body as it would for making theme for the chassis.
What gives Kyosho?

On a second thought, maybe some of the detailed Dnano ASC wheels would be to fragile for racing. It is already the case with mini-z where some wheels are more fragile than others. At 1/43 scale it could even be worse hence the choice of 1 generic wheel, problem solved.

At least half the line-up look's good with these wheels. Not so sure about the Countach.

Well if you want to remain purist the 6 spoke wheels are wrong on the Countach for a reason.
The Countach Kyosho reproduced (red with black wheelarchs and front spoiler) is in reality a unique car, Walter Wolf Countach . This was the first large track countach that had fat Pirelli's and these "Bravo" wheels (the ones with 5 holes). Later Lamborghini made the Countach LP500S production version based on Walter Wolf's only the wheel archs were painted the same color as the body.
