anyway, the correct set up for drifting i soft in the front, hard in the back. maybe 3 or 4.5 degree toe-in.

I believe it's better that you test which setup is best for you, yourself. I mean if somebody drifts with some setup it doesn't guarantee that you'll drift with the same setup. There really isn't a "best" drift setup. In my opinion most of it depends on the surface you're running on and personal skill(how fast you react, your personal timing, ect). Sure, many people have hardwood floor but each one differs. Plus with experimenting you'll learn more about the car like how it reacts with the different positions of battery packs and other things. Trust me it feels better knowing that you did some setup with your own personal touch I'm not trying to be mean or anything just giving you a suggestion.

Yea please.

For drifting, a base is AWD, of course, and either electrical taped tires, trimmed so they are flush with the rim/tyre, or PVC/ABS pipe.

Then you can go ahead with high-torque motors, alloy knuckles if you crash allot, tuned suspension set-ups, weight distribution according to your preference... most everything except the things I mentioned first, are personal preference.

of course surfaces come into it as well

I was actually thinking of getting some good drifters together and forming a group/team kind of thing, for video compilations and maybe even drift battles against other teams... that is, if anyone's interested ?
