My wacky Helicopter idea: Connect three of 'em!

I love these little helicopters that are out now, but being a modder of sorts I struck upon this idea:

I would like to combine three helicopters on a lightweight triangular frame to make a large(r) more stable "heavy lifter" with possibly some more precision maneuvering capability.

I don't know which model or brand I would like to use for this experiment, but it'll be expensive so don't look for it to happen with me anytime soon.

The ones I'll use will be the dual lift prop kind that can be trimmed easily for rotation.

The plan would be fairly simple:

Keep all three batteries, but connect them in parallel for the longest flight time.

Connect all three lift props to one control board. (?)
In theory (I like that part) one would be able to trim all three together to keep the thing from rotating in flight, but doing this will also triple the load on the RC board as well!!

THAT is the main thing I'm worried about.
I'm fairly certain the monster will fly otherwise as long as it's balanced.

If I use the kind with a tail rotor (which is probable) I would simply orient all of them on one side or even mount the tail rotors as pusher/pullers.

Sounds like a cool idea! Something with precision and manuverability to fly little missions. With that kind of lifting power you could put one of those wireless micro video cameras on it. Peek into the second floor girls dorm rooms, lol. Or, seriously, you could sit in your armchair and fly the thing around by watching your TV. Lots of fun scenarios with that setup. Good luck with it!

You should check this out:

You can find it cheaper to buy elsewhere, but it shows a short video of it in action. I think it's similar, just using 4 props.

I've seen something that was done like this before, only it was an autonomous robot with three dowel-mounted motors and props. This thing on the website looks like they glued four of the 1st generation Vectron Black Hawk's together.
