Depends...

Running time can be anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes, depending on battery freshness, motor, gearing, and driving surface.

It is generally not recommended to use rechargeable batteries (or even plus/extended life).

RTFM when you get your car .

RTFM= Read The erm.. Fine Manual.

Running time will vary depending on motor and driving style. You can get anything from 3 to 7 minutes of running time on a single charge.

Its recommended that you use standard batteries. Not rechargables or super batteries. The car's battery gets it's juice from the controller's batteries. So you don't want to use anything that may over/undercharge it.

Goodluck. And welcome to the wonderful world of micro R/Cs.

im using duracells they seem to be fine.

I have the battery out of a zipzap in my microsizer and if i doublecharge (charge the car 2 times in a row) it has been known to run for the duration of a cvsup to stable a buildworld and installworld and a kernel build and install, which is not quick.
