Steering stopped working

So I’ve been playing with my SE for a week now more or less and It just stopped working as far as turning left
I played with the adjustments and with nothing could be fixed that way I disassembled it to find a mess of gears that I didn’t know where there
I don’t know what exactly is going on it seems as though there is something stopping it from turning at a point
Ill probably have to weight for daylight to have enough good light to see what’s going on there but I thought I would ask here and see if this has happened to anyone and if anyone had a fix

turns out i found the problem and it was a striped gear, there was enuff plastic avalable using a knife and hot needel i am re working the gear then ill have to figure out how to put the stering back together
