Z-Cars?
I'm kinda new to these things and all the different brands are gettin me confused. about a week ago i picked up a zipzap with all the fast and furious upgrades and thought it was pretty quick, then yesterday i picked up this Z-cars kit. out of the box its so slow its boring, but all i did was swap in the ZZ green motor and the z-car will keep up with the fastest ZZ. not to mention how screamin fast it is with the NOS motor and red gears. whats the deal, why is this thing so slow stock and so insanely fast with just a new motor, and why wont the zipzaps keep up?

The mototr that comes with the Z car is supposed to be a 2.2 motor(22,000 rpm) The pc board in the ZipZaps probably limit the current to the motor. When you put the zipzaps motor in the Z car the motor was allowed to draw more current, which in turn led top more speed.

I also bought one of the z-cars to play around with. It does scream with the NOS motor. Handling kind of sucks though as its even shorter than the microsizers. They carry these cars at the Discovery Store. and they run about $20. It might be kind of cool to pull the PCB out of one of these and put it in a ZipZap.

I put a zip zap turbo motor in my bit and it really runs strong. The zip zaps can't compare in speed with the bits. I know some guys have swapped boards from bits to zips with success. Check the forums.
