heres someone who did a project using that motor.it went i think about 20mph on 4cells. click here
it does take minor modifications to fit in the car suchs as using a bevel-pinion and trimming the plastic motor mount and shimming it up high enough for the gears to mesh.there is some info on the motor on the link and pics to understand what im talking about.
good luck
i saw you sig and does you car still have 6cells?i dont think that it will fit if you use 2 batery holders on the top of the car.i know that it would surely fit if you solder the batteries together using 3 on each side...but this would require a pro charger.lithiums should work great though.

damn!!! te skyline has enough room in the rear to fit 2 cells?!? with the supra i was able to fit one cell in the rear without interfering with the suspension but i gave it to my friend who now has the 5th cell in the rear of his sti.
good luck with the motor.ive never really seen anyone use it on 6 cells/lithiums.it should be crazy.keeps us updated on the motor ad thigns.

I have my stock RS4 motor in my skyline....it was actually very easy to install, I didn't have to shim it at all. I believe i used a 11 tooth pinion from and xmod motor and it works great, lots of TQ
oh and I run 4 IC3's

yea the stock 180 micro rs4 motor will work without modding but skyline is using the bigger/larger/completely round upgraded 45t micro rs4 motor which is better than the stock 180 one.
