Stage 2 Motors with Lithiums...Issues
O.K. Last week I upgraded to the Lithium Pro kit from JawDropRacing. Since that time I have managed to burn up (render completely useless) 3 Stage 2 motors. Each motor lasted all of 10 minutes racing. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Stage II with Li-Ions and haven't had any issues yet. Hmmm.....replace it with a $9.95 AtomicMods 180S Hi-Torque motor. It rocks for the price!

i have a kit from jdr and have had no problems (car wise, first box never got deliverd for unknown reasons and returned to sender but i got it finally!) and its run great.. i think u bought some defective motors or someething..tahts just insane

Sounds like you are getting too much voltage to the motors.
Is that possible without burning fets?

i have a 6 cell xmod and my stage 2 motor burns up too i keep on having to solder the wire back to the commutator it like melts off in about 5-10 minutes of full throttle racing...
