I've got a Bit Char-G and I noticed that when the car gets about 2-3 feet away from the controller, it starts acting very erratically... the motor will turn on and off quickly, and steering becomes random as if the car was gaining and losing the signal arbitrarily. I don't have a cripple capacitor, anyone else know why this could be happening? New batteries in the transmitter...
it sure does sound like you do have a crip cap...are you sure you checked everywhere? sometimes it's not connected in the front..but in the back..also it's not always from L3 to R9 or soemthing like that..can't remmeber exactly...but look carefully at ur controller..the crip cap was added on after...so look at all the capacitors on ur controller...each of them should have a white outline on the board itself...but since the crip cap was added afterwards ..it won't have the white outline...this is a general rule...i'm not sure it works all the time..but it worked for me..i have a lanevo7 and the freq is 35 mhz....it was on hte back and the capacitor had 22 (if i rmember correctly) on it
Nope, no crip cap... i managed to unsolder and resolder every capacitor in the transmitter trying to find it. every one that I disconnected rendered the thing useless.
