Thumbs up Smokin Fast

Just finished switching my microsizer to my zip, and man what a diffrence! Spinning tires, donuts and just balls to the wall fast.

Major benefit is better handling with the zip chassis.

Read about this in an earlier post and had reservations because I liked my micro too (just liked the zip better) but spent ton of time on the zz pcb looking for the magic mod.
Well worth the expence of a micro just for he pcb.

Requires alot of patiance and good soldering skills but I am really impressed with the outcome.

Plan to but another micro just because I have a few bodies and parts that will go to waste.

For those of you who can do this mod should do!!

I know some of my friends will be mighty dissapointed this weekend .

I'll post some pics later today.

Right now gonna go smoke some tires

help me out here...what makes the handling better on a ZipZap? is it wider turning radius, quicker response, something else?

I have a bit char-g and with different tires i can make it handle however i need, for any track- wide, smooth turns for figure 8 tracks and stuff, and sharp turns for tracks with hairpins...

what makes a zip better?

go_zz_go said it.

It's more the longer wheelbase.

With stock tires and stiff susp. this thing really hugs the turns
