Test Drove an Xmod Today... Not Impressed
Am I missing something here? I went to my local RS today all excited to buy my Xmod and decided to give the demo a try and it stunk! turning radius blows and speed is nothing to brag about. It wasnt an awful experience, but I would not even spend $30 on one. Input?

You can do the steering resistor mod to fix the steering problem. I did it to mine, and it turns much more to scale than before.
There are also countless motor/battery combinations out there to make it faster, but I suspect that maybe their demo may have had weak/dead batteries in it. My RSX with AWD, a CF driveshaft and the stock motor leaps off the line almost as fast as my mustang dragster that has the stage 2 drag motor and TRC bearings.
