Just an idea....

Hey this could be a good spot for some new, never tried ideas. we could comment on them and then add our own ideas.
this is just an idea right now, but i am considering turning it into a reality. Has anyone ever tried putting a dremel motor into an xmod? they spin extremly fast! and are pretty powerful, but im not sure how big they are, or how much torque or if its even enough torque to spin the tires. anyone wanna do some research for me, go ahead and prove me right or wrong, please?

If you could get it to work it would be good, but a dremel runs on AC not DC so there would be no way to power the dremel, not that i know of anyways. Also the motor in a dremel is just smaller then the actual dremel.

Depending on the dremel, the motor is roughly 550 sized. I don't see any way it would fit, without some major modifications.

not all run on ac. there are some battery operated dremels. but i really dont see this being a resionable source of a motor. cos dremels are not cheap. if you could somehow come across a dremel motor for cheap, then give it a try.

i got an old dremel. only a few probems. weight, size, center of gravity, and power. how the hell can i power it? there has to be somethin other than li-ion and alkaline to power this thing right? also, this thing has gotta be as big as my pc mouse right? well its gonna need space to sit in but i was thinkin, the mustangs a tall car right? if i took some traxxx tires and wheels, converted them to fit on the mustang, raised the suspension to apropriate height, and made some body mods, i could make the engine sit right in place. but also, it cant sit sideways cause itll stick outta the car, so i would need a driveshaft inverter. anyone know where i can find one? ive seen em in real cars so why not xmods right? also, this is gonna be a heavy motor so super stiff suspension maybe? or maybe just a traxxx suspension but like, 6 on each side of the back? fronts fine on suspension. now i cant have it too high or it will flip when i turn the car so i have to test for that, but if i have the traxxx ultra wides then that'll help alot.
