Ford Aerostar Race Body in the Works...
I measured out my aerostar and have scaled it down to fit the X-Mod long wheel base. It'll be around 1/32 scale and made out of lexan - 1 long top panel and 2 side panels. Finishing up the templates
Only the coolest vans have RWD (it actually does)

You guys are all the same, running the same 6 bodies. I'm tryin something new, so if you can't handle it, shut up.
Lexan is pretty hard to find in sheets. I'm just waiting for some guy to contact me.
Has anyone worked with this stuff? Any tips?

Lexan is wicked hard. It's what they use in battlebot armor quite often, so youll do yoruself a favor to get a seriously sturdy saw blade or two.

My first idea was to cut it, but then i realized it would look more square and full of edges and corners. My new idea would be melting it over a mold. Would this work? I could just widdle the car out of a block of would? Or would i need an iron mill to make a steel version of it?

your best bet would be to make a model of the van out of something like plaster then use the vacume mold method. if you need any info on how to vacume mold feel free to ask.
