Though I missed the contest, I'd figure I'd show you all what my entry was to be
Missed the deadline, oh well, but here's a pic anyway, my Ferrari 250 GTO, still needs the clear coat, exhaust, and decals, those will come in time.

They're clear headlights, their are little foggy for now because of sanding but, when the clear coat is applied, they will clear up. I have plans for putting in some sealed led lights.

How did you stretch the chassis to fit the body? Is that a slot car body? How did you mount the body?
Looks great! Nice!

RCdealer, use the search function under my post for answers to all your questions because, I've already posted the extended chassis mod and the body type, as for the attachment, note in front you can see the stock mount but, on the back I just potted a new mount area to the body with epoxy and used the original chassis mount. I guess I'll have to do a thread on the mounting.

That's the cleanest, most beautiful Bit I have ever seen. Much respect.
Don't get too carried away with decals.

arch2b: the HO lexan body is from scale auto, they have alot of the older style stuff which I really like. Beware, my body is heavily modified
killboy: I'll either do the racing versionwhich, in those days only had white roundels with the number inside, located on the doors and hood and, three Ferrari emblems or, the street version which are only the emblems. Either way it'll be light on the decals.

Yeah, definately an awesome job there nivirt. To be honest with you, when I first looked at it, I thought "this is some kinda PS trick", but I do remember the chassis mod you did! You do very good work, and I feel bad for doubting it for the split second I did
The wheel wells are immaculate, the paint, the sizing, all awesome. How long did it take you? I swear, a few of you guys (meaning the custom body guys/good painting skills, etc.) should get together and hand make these bodies and go into business on Ebay. I bet you could get up to 80-100 bucks for that thing! It definately got my attention!!!
