AA mod

has anyone tried to change form AAA to Double AA because when i look at AAA ic-3's there 800 mah which is good but when i look at AA ic-3's they are 2000 mah which is great! i would change out the battery holders for AA in a heartbeat but can the cars stock electronics handle it? and if there is a thread on this plz direct me beczuase i tried to search for " xmod AA mod but ofcourse we cant search for words less than 3 letters. so anyone out there plz help and advise.

From what I've heard about converting AAA to AA it's just a waste. AA's wouldn't make Your car any faster, they would just make it slower, seeing that AA's way more than AAA's. If You want more power going into Your car Use AAA IC-3's and do a 6 or 7 cell mod, either mod will make Your car a lot faster, adding a 7th cell might not work, (not enough room under the body) so just go with 6 cells and use IC-3's instead of normal Batts. You could always go the lithium way, even lighter and faster.

unfortunatle everytime i try even 5th cell i fry my reciever any way of avoiding that???? and i use ic'3

i used (8) 9.6 volts of rechargable AA's 2300mah adfter a lil while burnt my fets. im sure itwill do better with a fet stack but you still have to think about the weight ratio. i might even sell my xmod
