Question help please?

hello i used to be into tiny rcs and stuff and im getting back into it. i just dual celled a car. i built a new charger too. when i charge it for 45 seconds or longer and take it off it like suddenly loses all the power it charged up and when on the charger it works fine except when i push backwards it uses the dual cell power and when i push forwards it uses regular power. if any body has some suggestions or answers please reply it will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Your batteries are not making a contact with the charging pads. Check the connections, and if necessary, rebuild it.

umm?

how can the batteries not be making contact if it charges? before i dual celled it i didnt have a battery in the car and it still charges but cant go off the charge pad and i think it had more power too.

From your description, it sounds like it's not charging, but drawing power from the charger while on the charging pad.

yeah thats what i mean i put it on the charger and it runs real good when its on the charger but right when i take it off it suddenly loses all the power it charged up and doesnt do anything.

What voltage are you charging at? For dual cells, you want to be feeding it 4.5 volts.

i charge it with 4 AA's is that too much im thinking the batteries are bad but i dont know its a junk car do wanted to to try something new i just ordered a new toyota bB, 2 new 150 mah batteries, and a R Spec II motor so i think i can make a pretty fast car and i think im going to try the mosfet mod. i just wanna get my car to go reallly fast its gotta be real fast so im gonna do everything i can do. u got any ideas?
