Installed 6 cell, but there is a problem...

i installed the 6 cell, than put in the batteries, and i tried the steering, it was slow... then i tried the motor and it wasent working at all, i checked the connections and everything, then i recharged my batteries and the same thing happened! does any1 know whats wrong?
