REALLY poor range :(

Ok, i just got another Zip, and the range sucks..like literally 3 feet or less...i haven't even opened the damn PCB cover, it just came ****ty, now i know there are mods out there to increase range..but shouldn't it come out of the box with more than 3 feet of range?? like i have to walk right behind it while i drive it, and some times i'm standing behind it, with the controller antenna pointing straight at it, and it moves all sketchy...anyone else get a crappy ZZ out of the box??

I did but someone put a thread in about useing speaker wire antenna to increase the range, I did it and it doubles the range. I also made it so an adapter can be hooked up to my controller by getting a jack and soldering it to the batterie compartment inside this also was on a thread a long time ago it gives you around 35 range with speaker wire.

Return it. It should not have that crappy range. GerG's did not have that crappy a range.
