Check out these FETS
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=2565
Do these FETs look right? I have done my research to learn that cutting the heat sink can severly damage the car. (am I right)
It also kinda look like these have a heatsink on them which I also thought was bad.
I want these but im not sure can someone give me some feedback on these things?
Peace

Those are the same FETs that Robert Byrd uses at AtomicMods.com They are legit.
The FETs themselves don't have a heatsink on them, however, a heatsink making contact with the FETs would aid cooling them. However, you'll generally have to cut the heatsink to make room for the FET stack at x3 or x4 stack.
Anyway, why go through ebay? Goto www.digikey.com and order them direct, probably cheaper too.

Yes, I've ordered from them.
I don't know if they take money orders.
You can order as many as you want.

yes they do take money orders, so people w/o credit cards are not left out of the ever-advancing xmods world of mods

I don't think Digi-key carries the 4562s, though, at least, I've never seen them there.

Mine have been fine thus far. It's not like you're going to be off-roading with your xmod.

Each FET IC is a dual N/P channel, so it has one of each. This is how two of the IC's make up an H-bridge.

Jshwaa uses them.
When I do mine, I will use the 7389s. I believe neurokinetic used them before he went with the larger P and N FET mod he has hooked up currently.
They are pretty common in our applications..
