Question Frequency legality issues...

Someone here may know the answer to this...

With US approved bits (mircos) and the ZZ's, why only the 2 frequencies? Now, I am aware of fcc regulation, but what about all of the different freq's that we run on the bigger cars (i.e. Miniz, 1/10) Obviously the bigger cars use crystals for frequency and it makes it easier to change frequency. But I guess my question is, how can we have 6 frequencies for the miniz cars, but the micros only have 2 when we know the original bits came with more?

Anyone have any ideas? Man, how cool would it be if the micros actually had crystals, and we could quickly change our freqs?!?!?

All the larger scale RC i have all run on either 49 or 27...but you are right they run on crystals, ranging from 27.000 to 27.990 and nearly the same for the 49.

The reason is because the government wants the channels for other broadcasts, TV, intelligence and such.

I have had luck runnning the 57 jap frequency here in america along 2 microsizers (27 & 49).

**knock, knock** oh crap the FCC is here to kill me for owning my 57Mhz Bit!
