This may not be new and it is based on an old concept but I never heard of it so I though I would post it.
ko...I began by taking the principle of a stand-alone charger and attaching it to the remote. I took apart the docking bay on the top the remote, unsoldered the wires and soldered on the wires from a 4 AA battery pack. Before I did this I rooted the wires through a hole I made on the top of the remote. Now that the battery pack was attached and the wires went in and out of the remote fluidly, I assembled the remote back to normal, with the charger on top… and whalllaaa. I velcroed the battery pack to the back of the remote so it is removable, to get to the original battery dock, which still powers the remote.
Up>>>>
Strong on remote charger for duel cell car
Battery pack makes a nice hand little grip
Batteries for remote last a lot longer
Looks cool cuz it looks different and high tech (though it is not)
Downs>>>>
No timer light (Whoopie)
