well you could dip your car in some substance that will remove the paint but you would still have to repaint the car. I would just buy a new RSX body assembly for the 7.95 or somethin....for info on this check CJ's Xmod faq you have to call it in on special order but it beats buying a new xmod.

Don't be stupid. a ruined body and buying a new XMOD, you could just leave the body off for more speed and less noise.
And you could easily just put the body in some brake fluid for awhile and then wipe away the paint that didn't come off.

Just order a new body, check out CJ's FAQ. It is only $8.00 for a new body!

If you're looking to remove the paint, use oven cleaner or Simple Green. I spoke to my LHS guy and he recommended it for regular models. I don't think there is a huge difference or any at all in the type of plastic used on Xmods or model cars. Just make sure to remove all the lenses before you do so. Using a toothbrush you can brush it off with the liquid, either one. Hope this helps as I will do this to remove all the original paint as I don't want to layer the paints and lose some of the details of the original body.
