Help w/ Steering
Picked up an Xmod Skyline CHEAP! from a radio shack close to the house..
It had been returned as non-functional, so I got it for a song. Turns out all that was wrong was the motor wasn't plugged in. Took care of that, cleaned it up, and it ran.
The only problem I have found is that the steering isn't equal left to right...turns great right, not so great left..I have read that there is a fix, but cannot remember where.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Tim

BadCompany,
Thanks for that...I searched Xmod Steering and shoulda looked for fixes.
I guess I will take it to work tommorow so I can deal with the surface mount stuff there.
I guess for $25.00 I shouldn't complain, but hey, might as well get the most out of it. this thing is kinda fun..not hobby class, but great for tooling around the garage, plus it is cheap to hack....
Any other recommended mods or upgrades? (other than motor, suspension AWD, etc.)

There's always the six-cell modification.
Or you could make it a rolling lightshow, that's popular.
The possibilities are endless.
