Nighttime Racing
Just gave it some thought after playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.
Have a race in a dark room and the only thing racers would need is an LED headlight equipped car. Well, cars without LED lite-up headlamps may participate I guess, even though they have a significantly lighter weight, it is most likely that the driver will not be able to see a thing unless the track is lit up for him by other cars. Some small obstacles might prove challenging, pylons etc.

Maybe if there were like mini street lamps every 2 feet or at every turn or something...that would give racers just enough light to make out the track, but still give it a 'night racing' look

You can have a metal pole bent at the top with an LED fixed at it's tip and wires coiling around the pole all the way to the bottom. Bottom can probably be something that will secure the pole as well as a battery holder. I guess thats the cheap method.
