Tower Hobbies.
All I can say is WOW!!!...The torque and speed are insane. This is the most fun I have had with an RC...PERIOD! I was jumping it off of a 3 foot deck and it wouldn't even bottom out. LOL

They claim it goes 30+ mph, and I believe them. There is no way these Xmods are reaching 25mph, if this thing is doing 30+, this thing just flat out hauls, and does mad wheelies. The manual 2 speed transmission is nice too.
The combo pack was around $400...RTR.

Another thing that they're good for is shipping them to the Northwest...I'm not sure why...just do it :P

Now you know....
And now you know the joys of being a Monster too!!!! heh heh heh...if you think THAT's fast, get yourseld a NOVAK Super Rooster ESC and 2 Diamond Speed Gem Kryptonite engines and watch it hit over 55mph!!!! Another suggestion, dump the 2 7.2V battery packs that you probably have in it and go for 2 8.4V hump celled packs. I got a couple for 19.99ea. at HobbyTown USA. If you do the engine mod. PLEASE get yourself a couple of heat-sinks because they will get HOT HOT HOT....um also, hope you have a 15min or quicker AC/DC charger. If you get a 7cell (8.4V) batt pack then make sure your charger has a 6cell/7cell 7.2/8.4V switch on it...
HAPPY MONSTERING

Yeah, I plan on at least getting the 7 cell batteries and some heat sinks, they do get hot! I bought a peak charger that had the 6/7 cell selector and 2-4 amp. Right now I'm running 2400mah batteries, but will upgrade to 3300.

i'm wondering, i have no experience with RC's of this scale and class, how do you switch gears on teh 2 speed tranny? you said it's manual....is it set with a mechanical switch on the car like those cheap RC's at toys'r'us or do you shift it with the remote through a 3rd channel?
