Serious Problems!!!!
Hey guys i just got my bit, it is a tomy and everything, a white skyline on 27. Ok i opend it up and the range blew nuts so i undid the knot under the board and it still didnt help, i tried to do the pot thing also but it didnt help one bit. What should i do, im very scared.

this is normal!!! try redoing the antenna with either cat5 cable or a solid copper cable about 6-8 inches long.

You can try the Cat5 mod or the Telescope antenna on your controller. I think that those would help, you probably already know this but you can check out www.questformadness.com

home depot, radio shack or a local computer store.........its also category 5 network or ethernet cable or CAT5....

so you use that huge cable or do you strip it and take a wire out of it?

strip it and there are 8 wires inside, just pick one. you can also double them up for increased range, but it adds extra weight to the back of the bit.........are you good at soldering???

Is it Cat5e? 2$+1$shipping=3$ for a small scrap of cat 5e?? What a bargin!! Perhaps its solid gold wire...
